As the Postal Service reported to the Governors May 9, service performance declines were across the board. The First-Class Mail composite (letters and flats) score was 84.12 for 2Q FY 2024, compared with 90.96 for SPLY.
For First-Class Mail overnight, the on-time score was 92.84, compared with 94.70 for SPLY. First-Class
Mail 3-5 day saw an on-time score of 81.99, down from 90.27 for SPLY.
Turning to Marketing Mail, Joshua Colin, USPS Chief Retail and Delivery Officer and Executive Vice
President, reported that the on-time score for Q2 FY 2024 was 93.57, compared with 94.58 for the same
quarter in FY 2023.
